The more and more I’ve ingrained myself into the world of business, art, or whatever field - one thing seems to hold true:
If something needs to get done, ask a busy person.
It sounds completely counterintuitive: why would a busy person have the capability to do something more than one who isn’t busy?
But being busy is a mindset. It’s a choice we make as individuals. And as you find yourself more and more busy, you find that being busy is actually beneficial to doing things.
Because a busy person is actively doing things. So they are in that space of focus, whereas people with a lot of free time tend to procrastinate and make excuses as to why things can’t be done. When you just sit at home doing nothing, it’s difficult to get off your behind and get things done. Whereas if you are already up and about, another project or deal is just another thing to cross off the list.
Being busy is a choice, and a state of mind. It’s strange but - be busy, and get more things done. Free time is the enemy of productivity.
